cheers
Fuel cut due to overboosting maybe? Might be better putting up what mods you have.
Phil
cheers forgot about that
here it is
Greddy T-78 turbo kit
Ext Wastegate
Screamer pipe
Street ported by pip gardner @ wgt autos
Greddy front mount intercooler
1600cc injectors
Uprated fuel pump
Apexi power fc commander mapped for 95 fuel
Straight through exhaust system
Sychronic synapse blow off valve welded on
Greddy tb elbow
Godspeed aluminium radiator
Racing small battery
Greddy oil catch can
Greddy Profec II boost controller
If you check the boost setting on the PFC and make sure its well above the setting on the Profec this will rule out fuel cut.
cheers mate ill check it
i checked the greddy profec and wat i can see is the boost limit is set to 1.0 bar which looks right as the car was mapped to .85 bar but i cant make out wat the limit is on the apexi as im not sure where it is in the menu jus wondering can someone tell me where to find it
Go into settings then into boost. Whats the pri/sec setting on number 1, if its on 1.
cheers mate jus checked it their and the pri/sec is at 1.0bar for both settings 1 and 2
can anyone help
Get the commander to monitor boost and inj juty then get your passenger to tell you what they are reading when it cuts out.
That would rule out boost cut at least.
cheers mate ill do it tomorrow and let you know
your coil might be on it\'s way out?
how can you tell if the coils on its way out
a garage might be able to hook up a meter and test the flow of power through the coil? not sure on that one
right i went out and this is wat i got for the injector duty and boost when the problem starts in third gear
injduty: 42% to 44% to 46% to 48% to 50% to 52%
boost: was .78 to .81 and it jumped around between those figures during the lack of power
also its backfiring when the problem starts
If it\'s backfiring a lot your either having spark problems or it\'s overfueling. Pull the plugs and check them out also check the leads. If it\'s neither you may be having problems with the coils discharging.
cool i did change the plugs a while ago from 10\'s all roiund to 9\'s all round but when i checked the 10\'s they had a bitta build up on them which probly stopped them workin but i changed to 9\'s because the engine jumped to one rotor and i taught the 10\'s were the reason
