Title: Fuel tank leaking
Post by: MarkoFu on March 06, 2010, 01:36:23 PM
Hello again,
So I\'ve got a fuel leak now :2Rolleyes Unfortunately it\'s right about the rear diffuser so I\'m currently in the process of drilling out the rivets etc. which hold that in place. Luckily I glued it in place before I riveted it on to make it really secure, so it\'s really on there!!! :Hammer

Anyway, just wanted to know if anyone had experienced this problem before and what the solution is?Any input greatly received as normal. :)

Thanks.

Have you checked it\'s not coming from the pipes at the top of the tank and running round it- before you start taking everything apart

had mine MOT\'d the other day & the fuel pipes have started to rust.... could be the metal pipes have rusted through? if it\'s the tank, you should be able to get a second hand one from a member who is breaking one prety cheep.
