Title: Boost Base Duty Help!!
Post by: nuki on March 05, 2010, 01:02:12 PM
My car was mapped at 322bhp and says on the PFC commander (0.7) primary and (0.75) Secondary.
But on the PFC hand commander the Peak boost monitor im hitting like 0.82 Boost which is concerning for me.
If i have been told by my tuner to lower the Base Duty by 6% and work upwards until i get the right boost.
Can any1 shead any light on this please before i go mess around and break something
Thank you.

If your car was mapped by anyone competent then im sure it will be safely mapped for this mate tbh. It is deffo the cold weather causing your boost to increase but again the map should be a little compensated for this anyway.

As long as your injector duty is still in safe limits then i wouldnt worry.
