Title: good site for hose fittings
Post by: jackaleks on March 02, 2010, 12:15:49 PM
anybody know a good site for hose bits?

i want to get rid of the fuel damper so i guess i need a 1/4 or 3/8 NPT thread with an 8mm ID barb on the end.

my local plumbing shop is pure useless and doesn\'t have anything like that :p

Earls do pretty much everything fitting wise - but they aren\'t the cheapest.  Good quality and next day though :)

Jeghs - how soon do you need it? I\'m ordering a shedload of stuff from there this week so could bung summat on for you.

I\'ge got a 1/4NPT tap I bought just for the above as well that you can borrow :)

ooh, may take you up on the offer of that tap. i\'ve just bought a set of taps and dies but they only have 1/8  for pipe thread.

might try Jeghs then, had a look at Earl\'s but i could only find 1/4 NPT to 3/8 barb (unless i\'m being thick). 3/8 might be a bit big for 8mm fuel hose?

Wow, my spelling sucks. Might be easier if I didn\'t hit random keys.
