Title: Electronics staying on
Post by: goldk28611 on February 15, 2010, 05:07:55 PM
Turned the car off last night and noticed (after taking key out and locking car) that my Apexi commander was still lit - opened the car back up and no other electronics worked. tried putting key back in and back out again - starting and restarting - disconnecting battery and re-con\'ing again but still has power lit and is still pulling diag\'s (can see temps dropping (slowly)) but my defi guages and cd player stay off when key is out.

Any ideas what could be causing this? battery and terminals are new as of Dec 09 and has been fine for 2 mths now.

This kinda happened outta the blue.

Turbo timer disconnected but plumbed in still. Wires wrapped back on themselves. (done by Haywood)
ECU has been in the car for 3 years with no issues till last night and car has recently had a once over by Super 7 end of Dec 09.
The alarm allowed me to arm and disarm OK.
Was going to disconnect battery but.... (forgot - had a hectic night)
Went back to car this afternoon to bring it back to work and dead as a Do-do.

Will boost it tonight and see if the problem is still there - nothing i can notice by looking at the battery wiring, no loose wires giving power to something random.
