I have finally managed to get my uprated fueling system together after a year or so of collecting and saving for parts lol
Aeromotive FPR
AN-6 aeroquip fittings
Braided lines
KG Parts secondary rail
2X Bosch 1680cc injectors
300zx pigtail injector connectors (the later ones had the OEM bosch fitting)
Nice blue thick walled vac line :D

I should be ok for fueling until the T88 goes in, in which case I might be running a 3rd injector rail into the compression tube running the 550s that were taken out the secondaries. My plan is to run rails 1 and 3 (total of 4X550 like stock) on one fuel pump, then run a seperate fuel pump and line to rail 2 (total of 2X1680) that way I will have ample fuel in all rails as if I plumb in a 3rd rail into this setup there might be an issue with pressure pulses. This setup you see above will be ok for the OEM turbo and the T88 on spring boost (450bhp at 0.9 bar or so) My plan is to never max anything out and always have a nice safety margin, that way if I had a boost issue there will always be enough fuel to allow the ECU to just dump fuel like crazy and I will notice as it bogs down (and huge flames come out the back) hehe
Nice.
Will the KG rail fit on an FC engine ?
Also - you have a pair of 1680\'s - looks like you\'ve got a spare set now then ? :yes
Be interesting to see what fuel arrangement you come up with for running a tertiary rail - in principle I can see it working - but you had any thoughts on how that\'s going to be plumbed up ?
Why would you even bother with running seperate pumps for seperate rails !!!
Waste of time and money if you ask me!!
2 x1000s in centre plate and 2x 1680 boschs in the end plates and your done..
2 1000s and 2 1680s are good for over 600hp on race fuel bud so i think your going the wrong way about your fuel setup.
12AT you are incorrect on this it all depends on the HP goals, running 2 fuel pumps one per rail is done by a lot of drag boys. It depends on the HP goals.
Nice setup up Mitch I like it, what are your HP goals.
Ditch the idea of a third rail you wont need it.
550 and 1680 injectors will provide enough fuel up to 450rwhp (UK dyno figures not US lol)
What pumps are you going to use? a single high power pump again will be ok up to approx 450rwhp but you will be on the limit.
Defo go swirl pot.
Glad you\'re happy with the bits mate
I\'ll still be beating you down the strip though :p

Totally agree on 2 pumps but really no need to run 2 seperate lines..
Spose it comes down to personal preference.
I will be running 2 Walbro 255LPHs, I kinda figured this as my reasoning:
Stock = 4X550 + 1 pump = 2200 cc per pump
Modified = 2X550 + 2X1680 + 1 pump = 4460cc per pump (202% above OEM design)
Third rail using 550s = 4X550 + 2X1680 + 1 pump = 5560 per pump (252% above OEM design)
However running 2 pumps with the 3rd rail would mean that 1 pump would be running the same as OEM, and the other one would be running 150% above stock.
My plan is to never try and max anything out on the car, hence the larger turbo running lower boost and larger injectors that have plenty of safety margin.
My power goals are whatever the power it makes at 1.2 bar, I don\'t have a power goal as such, but a maximum boost I am willing to run in the engine, I have found that about 1.2 bar is ok without sacrificing engine life as much as say running 1.4bar. I went for such a huge turbo as I know low boost + big turbo = safer than running tiny turbo and big boost lol. Apparently on spring boost (0.9 bar on the MONSTER 55mm wastegate) the T88 will be pushing mid 400s, 1.2bar might push nearer the 600 mark, but it will be running stock ports for a while until I get the engine rebuilt and get extended ports and get the engine doweled braced.
I will also be running WI for safety that could also include meth injection, but I will see what its like when running correctly. I will be running the OEM turbo this year so that I have time to uprate all the support parts like the WI, fueling and the ignition.
I will have a look into getting a swirl pot as well, and I will be running a 2nd FPR so that I can tweek the fuel pressure in each of the rails as and when needed.
I know everyone will probably say to get rid of the Walbros and get some 044s, but after having a look at some of the different data on flow rates on different pumps, yes the 044 does flow better at very high fuel pressures, but im not going to be running 90psi lol the walbros gave the best flow for the majority of the pressures used for street.

depends of the bore of the existing line, stock fuel line on my setup was to small so could not get the required volume down it no matter how good the pumps, I could have gone massive bore single line with a T piece on the pumps end.
But if I had a failure on 1 pump then i would go lean as I would still be getting fuel in, engine would pop.
A seperate fuel line\\pump per rail means, if one fails, it would just stop on cruise or fail to start (primary pump fail) or fail to go into boost and splutter (secondary pump fail).
Also another advantage of 2 seperate lines is less heating of the fuel.
I like backup plans :)
