Hi all,
Bit of a dilema here, as I am torn between 2 options, basically I have a set of OZ futuras in the Garage which will probably need spacers to fit as they are rather large, plus a bit of cash to get the wheel lips cleaned and polished up, basically they look like redgti\'s new wheels.
Now, I do like them as they do look rather cool, but they seems to have been done quite a bit before ie flat wide 5 spoke.
When I asked about overfenders a while back dthebuk posted up this photo of an FC with overfenders:

Then I saw the steel rims and thought: hmmm they look rather awesome lol so now im not sure what to do, I am wanting to keep my FC \'stock\' looking ie to lairy bodykits, but I will be running a 450+bhp engine.
What does everyone think, should I fit the OZ futuras and keep them on there, or should a fit the OZ futuras and then look around at maybe getting some steel rims for something different.
What does everyone think?
that FC looks awesome i like alot :)
its just rims.. easy enought to just change depending on your mood, but if u really want.. i\'ll find you some stelies from the scrappie and paint them up to your spec and swap them for ur OZ ones lol
Im thinking of getting my car sprayed matt black, to countract my main competition (Liam) hehe
I have had a look at banded steelies, so I can get a bit of width on the rear as on oem 0.6bar of boost im breaking traction in 2nd in the dry with my F1s lol
mitch, theres NO competition!!!!
i not even got a car!! unless u wanna compete against my other turbo car. the donkey derriere powered megane lol
breaks traction in 1st gear with the handbrake on in the wet! :p also 2nd,3rd and 4th when on ice lol
I do like the look of the FC above. But like Liam says rims can be swapped anytime.
My 17" steelies are being banded atm, so don\'t copy :p
I\'ll put a photo up when they\'re on, they\'ll be 9.5J ET0. I know I mentioned it ages ago, but they\'re BEING DONE now! (finally)
Other idea - I have Mitsubishi Starion alloys to go on too...
well as you want to keep it stock and subtle
why don\'t you just go for overfenders instead of the fender flairs

pretty much the best fc looking fc going imo.
you\'re wheels are sweet too, think they\'d look good with overfenders

u finally managed to fit the tyres on :)
me thinks you need some wide arch fenders lol
You\'d be suprised actually, all I need is a 1/2" roll on the arches and I\'ll be good!
Oh and some LOWS!
OOO :) I have also found some pretty cool cheap wheels that look cool, they aren\'t uber wide, so I might just get 2 for the front wheels when I am drag racing but...S14a spare wheels...they are apparently full sized wheels, 205 width and are usually shiny :D

Anyone know the wheel specs on the car above?
When using the above overfenders I used a 10J with offset ET20 and 18" wheel, you can get different sized extensions though so be careful to buy the right ones. Fills the arch quite nicely, I did have to cut the inner arches though and blended them in.

Looks like a Japanese car, but I\'ll try.
