Are 13b egi and fd ally rotor housings interchangable?

the coating is different as well as the exhaust port shape (opening and closing and size)
I believe the water passages may differ.
So I would be inclined to say no, but speak to an engine builder to confirm

on bruce turrentines rebuild vid, he rebuilds a 6 port and recommends swapping to turbo II rotor housings.  TII rotor housings and FD are virtually the same so although there maybe some very slight differences,  they should work.

But on a FD REW engine you would defo would not use EGI housings after reading some more info on a subject.

What engine are you rebuilding Mr Kiwi?

Yes they are,but a few minor changes would have to be made.
Better off only using EGI rotor housings for N/A purposes though.
