g\'day from Germany :)
I have some thoughts made about the idle speed behavior of PFC.
After I have installed the PFC, it idles like a sh** when cold. After the water temp reach about 65°C mark, the idle become very smooth. Installing stock ECU will not couse this idle issue.
Seems like idle speed is a common issue using PFC, or maybe I\'m wrong? I have played with some settings on PFC, like water temp correction (due to Weber effect), and injector pulses, without wanted results or changes to better idle.
Due to reset on PFC will couse good idle when cold for about 2 days or so..... then become more unstabe and never get better. I did not proceed the learniong procedure on PFC (10 min idle with no load, 10 min with A/C on, 10 min with defrost) but I think, it is useless.
Anyone here with the same experience ?

mine is fine with the power fc, didn\'t run the set-up a/c stuff either.
have you changed anything else?
I Have found the problem :)
Now idle become very smooth even in cold condition !

Hi Max,
I have changed the settings in water temp menu to values, wich are crazy to me, but this helps.
Now idle is fine, lambda is OK to :)

I assume you mean that you turned down the enrichment values in some of the colder water temperature sections?
That would be understandable, the Apexi really throws in the fuel on a cold engine - I guess it was throwing in too much!
Have you changed your fuel pressure recently?
Max
Hi Max,
Yes I have changed the values in the colder water temp section. I have tuned UP! the values.... First I have changed them to a lower value, but this was making idle more worse. After tuning up, the idle becomes very smooth.
Fuelsystem is still stock, so no change to pressure.

Very strange!!
I reckon there must be something else in the fuel system that is causing the problem. Like low fuel rail pressure, blocked filter, or pump, but those problems would also make you run lean at high revs!

Hi Max,
UEGO system shows very good values, running 11:1 at high RPM. Fuel filter was replaced about 500 miles ago.
Values looks strange to me to, but this helps :) Labda looks OK to me....
