Looking sweeeeet!!
What are you using to bung up the rear wiper hole?
a big rubber grommet lol the wiper never worked and it was just more weight i dont need im gonna get cracking on stripping the interior asap and if anyone needs rear interior parts there all out and can have hem for the price of postage+ a couple of beer tokens
also need o get the wheels matching in coulour any ideas ?
will also be attempting to squeeze my new 10j wheels under standard arches next time im home lol bring on the stretching and flaring
your car looks freakin sweet. and pretty darn clean!!
yeah but i need that turbo 2 splitter from you as the s13 one is a bit funny looking
What lowering springs are they? what drop did you go for? Btw I would get an aftermarket radiator at some point, although at least you havn\'t been silly and ditched the cowling!
yeah its on my to fit list i have one here bur will do it next time im home from offshore im unsure of the make as i got them from a freind and they were quiet scabby i fitted them but was not happy so out with grinder and off came a coil really need to buy daves coilovers tho
also just got a set of 10j wheels unsure of offsets at the mo so that will be my next challenge brak out the arch roller and plenty of heat lol

What is the tyre size? I have some 265 rears to put on, so I am guessing thats 10"? Do you need the rear spacers for clearance on those current rims?
no dont need he rear spacers but do need the front spacer im gonna go with 225 on a 10j wheel as i currenly have 215 on 9j wheel my missus skyline came with 265 om a 9j wheel
Yeah, Mitch you can\'t judge wheel width from tyre\'s, people stick any old thing on! A \'factory\' fit tyre on a 10J is probably at least 285!
What wheels are they dude? Tasty looking car.

right have a couple of small problems
i dont run a dumpvalve bu am i right in thinking this is whats causing my massive juddering as i come of throttle due to the afm beinga stupid plungery thing
as i have a nice hks one i can put on
also the stock afm looks like a big restriction if i was to use an apei safc2 could i replace it for something else
and with regards to plugs any ideas what i should go for now as there still stock and really need replacing
would your juddering be related to faulty dashpot?
as for afm, just know you can get rid of it if u go standalone and use a 3bar map sensor.
my car has not got one if its the part im hinking your talking about
and it never made he juddering before im thinking that its due to the volume of air that is now being forced back through the turbo etc when i back off he throttle
i guess ill fit the chump valve and see how it goes
any ideas on plugs liam?
bur9eq?? that seem most popular.
if u dont want chump valve then port the compressor housing.
how do i port the housing im still running he standard turbo if it makes any difference
i dont mind having a dumpvalve really ill try it and see what like
so you reckon 9s for both the leading and trailing then ?

im not a pro on plugs but as its fairly stock(ish) then 9\'s should be fine allround. i\'m sure someone will correct me if im wrong :)

You have to send it away to get the wastegate ported or you can get the compressor housing ported with an antistall shroud - but its cheaper to get the wastegate ported to proected the turbo! but on fc3s pro there is a guide on how to do it, personally I wouldn\'t risk it, the other option is to run with no BOV and no wastegate porting and watch the turbo seals fail and then probably the compressor blades get damaged. The previous owner of my car disconnected some of the vac lines which caused the bov not to work all the time, which then wrecked all the seals in the turbo due to compressor surge and I had to have the whole thing rebuilt lol *sigh*
im sorry mitch but porting the wastgate is not gonna make any difference to my problem i think liam is talking about the compressor side of the turbo
i already have the wastegate ported as the silly ebay exhaust was causing my boost to creep
but yeah its the turbo stall thats the problem i don mind turbos dying a little prematurely as ive never had a bov yet lol due to my distaste in the noise they make
and its a fine excuse to go bigger lol
but you got any ideas on the plugs mitch?

If you don\'t like the noise just get a recirc valve like OEM then, I am running 9s all round
ok well i never knew it had an oem one as there was not one on it when i got the car you see ill see how it goes cheers for the info
For plugs - I think most people go with BUR9EQ all round - they work fine and arn\'t bank breakers. There is a platinum version - but really not worth the money - just change the regular ones once a year or if you flood it badly ;)
ok 9s all round i is then
you still want the splitter mate? Im home this weekend so i can box it up and bring it to notts with me then look at postage for ya
Quote from: the hat;670091ok well i never knew it had an oem one as there was not one on it when i got the car you see ill see how it goes cheers for the info
I have an OEM recirc valve if you want it, although if you are running higher than stock boost it might leak past it. And secondly you don\'t have anywhere to plumb it to as you have a front mount, you would have to weld in a custom bung for a recirc to vent to, which is why it has been changed to run a atmospheric bov.
What sort is the BOV you have? I have a dual drive one that has 2 ports, the smaller port opens at lower day to day driving and is quiet like stock, the larger port opens on higher boost and when you are giving it the beans, its not UBER loud, but loud enough to know its a bov lol did you want to maybe swap? What sort of HKS one is it?
im really not sure its big and made of shiney metal and says hks on it im gonna give it a try and see what like if i dont like it i can put phoos up and we could maybe come o some sort of deal lol
on the recirc fron only thing i would need to do is make a hole on the intake pipe to vent too
right fitted dumpvalve and the problem is alot better but not completely gone so i thin i will try another dumpvalve on the cold side also lol
B Martin inhope you saw what you needed too and holy thread bump I\'ll post a pic of this car at the weekend it\'s looking rather sorry for itself
you still got this? whats going on with the yelllow one?
It\'s not like the amemiya one, I expected it to be like full 90 degree bend? How much difference is there between this and the greddy one? I know I\'m a pain, but could you get some close ups so I can see where it bends as obviously it\'s got to be fairly comparable with my ARC top mount, also have a think what kind of numbers your thinking about?
The lower the number the better, got to add about £10 on top for postage as well :Giggle
