Title: the nos factor
Post by: THE MAD KIWI on January 21, 2010, 08:30:37 PM
sooooo
ive started to install my won nos system im guna have 2 of the big bottles in the boot (im compensating for somthing) ive got a controler so i dont blow my engine on the first go , the big Q is how much nos do i run?
im going to run twin foggers (one into each trumpet)
the block is a turbo ll bp with na internals and ive already twisted and broken a t2 block in the past (16psi of boost)

your thoughts on the following please

how bigger shot to run
is it worth pulling the block apart and dowling it(kiwi style of course)
what came first the chicken or the egg

more pics and info

Is the engine turboed? if so then you can\'t run nitrous lol

id start with 25 shot first, then progress from there, make sure you have a wideband plumbed in to make sure the afr is correct

I know you are now going EGI, but it might have been an idea to get one of those reinforced sump brace rings and dowel the engine lol :burnout

you should be able to run nos without dowelling, just run a slightly richer than piston engine fuel jets. I reckon start with a 100 shot first then up it later.

dont call it an egi please its a 13b bp (egi makes it sound like a std six port)

and allthough those sump things are good i dont belive in them that much

but if mr hayward says run with a 100 shot just make it richer thats what ill do

till i get board then 150 :flamed:flamed then may be id like to go pp aswell but thats a while away yet

Sorry! If you get bored of the 100 shot then you could \'accidently\' make PP holes \'accidently\' in 3 housings :rollinshort block triple :3gears-rh
