Title: Would there be any interests in nylon bushings?
Post by: TobiasRX on May 08, 2004, 03:30:31 PM
Hi

I am in the process of making my own bushins in a CNC- turning machine. Since there arent any cheap alternatives to mazda and some other company\'s bushings i thought i could make more sets than just to myself.

The interest here in sweden is low therefor i\'m asking here aswell.

I will be calculating a price for this kit that will include all 18 bushings. All i can say about the price is that it\'s going to be a bit cheaper than the "Unobtanium bushings" that u can buy in usa.

Here\'s a link to a thread of my car.

They (FEED bushes) arent cheap! £825 inc VAT. I guess you dont pay the vat tho if they are exported...

And they are close to solid.

The FEED Bushings is great if u only drive your car on a track, maybe also if u have very lean roads where u live, i don\'t so i want softer bushings. Not saying that nylon bushings s soft though, they are very hard compared to rubber.

Yes - you\'re right, sorry I didn\'t specify that.

Please keep us posted with the outcome, I\'m sure there will be other people interested also.
