Title: Oil use on trackday?
Post by: suba on January 20, 2010, 11:34:54 AM
A very quick question for the track day chaps....

I\'m off to Mallory park on Sunday, and as the day is open pit lane I expect that I will be out on track a fair bit.

How much oil do you think the car will go through on the day - I need to make sure that I bring enough with me.:yes

Fill it up before you go, but no need to take any with you.  You wont use enough to need to top up before you come home.  Unless your engine is fduk\'d of course.

It\'ll be the fuel that stops you...not the oil. LOL
