Post by: Adam fc on January 18, 2010, 12:50:49 AM
I know this has been covered allot but does anyone know of someone who can replace or repair the relays in my unit?

I have a seperate unit kicking around with bad relays so i can just send it off to someone capeable to fix it.

old one removed, thwe paper connections seem good so im guessing it could be the relay itself.
Im no electrician so i may just purchase a new unit from mazda for stupid money lol

you might have damaged the circuit board removing the old relay, it might be worth getting another used wiper switch that probably wont work then try soldering the new relay on the other side of the board, sounds much easier than removing the old relay.
apparantly it doesnt take much to ruin the circuit board if the soldering iron is left on the board too long or if it\'s a too powerful iron. (low wattage soldering iron would be best)
