Hey hey.
Going to be living just down the road from this one in February and am interested in going! Is there a club stand of sorts for this at all, or is it just a turn up and park where ya can?
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike
Yes we will have our club area in front of the main buidling which is reserved for MRC. We always park there, and should we run out of parking spaces, then we park right out side this area.
To give you some idea pics from last year

Brilliant pics!! Thanks for the info :)
I\'m taking my FC up there in April, and should (fingers crossed) be a member by then too! Who is it best to speak to about joining the club stand, who to pay etc?

Hi Mike
You can join MRC see here:-

You will get 12 months membership from the date that you join. If you are a full club member before Brooklands, you will have your entrance paid for by MRC as this one annual event that we invite members to come along for a free day out.
Look forward to you becoming a member :Giggle
We will both be there again, 2 tickets and 2 stand passes for this one please!
Yep - I\'m hoping to be there this year too ;)
Yup, we hope to attend again this year. Last year was a great day. Seeing the car out on the famous track was a buzz. (http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif)
I will be there again this year,as a Member of the MRC :D & also maybe there,as RX8OC Member as well :)
We are definately interested in going, so tickets x2 please. It will be nice to meet some more Club members.
I\'ll be going even if i have to push my car there! :D

I know :2Confused
Think seen as its a static event its going to be the RX4 or the RX3, if there are a few RX4\'s going ill take the RX3 and visa versa :D
ill keep the RX7 for drag and track events.
Only thing with owning a few cars (i also have a 06 plate ford ranger that is my daily drive and also a mondeo ST24:o) is that im never going to have time to drive them, that said its always nice and special when i eventually do :D
Will be attending this one too this year having missed the last 3 years visits due to work!! :)
ill come will try and bring both cars down,if i can get some one to drive the sev ,the worst thing is ill probably be living in diss by then:eek:
Cool! Thanks for the info. I\'ll join up as soon as pay day comes round :-D
Will there be a bit of a convoy organised?
:yes I\'ll be there as well, been the last two years and it\'s been great :Thumbs-up.
Should be a few of the RX8 OC gang there as well, I think Graham (our new events guy) has already spoken to Clive about this as well as Rotorstock.
I\'m hopeing to come along to this, this year.... did say to the old man I\'d drag him along to take a look around..... and where the history of his car lies! never been there before, so would be nice to walk on the banked brooklands track (even if there is only 300yrds of it left!)
also got to sort out my membership once I see a little light at the end of my dark house shaped tunnel :(
have requested holiday at work so hopfully should get to this one this year! missed 3 years running now :(
Ive got a track day on the 24th, but assuming the car survives that then ill come on down :D
I\'ll be trying to make this, depends on work, but it\'s looking good
Looking forward to this one since I have been unable to attend for a couple of years.
Nice drive down too.
Keith
I\'m there, was a great day out last year!

Dibs
The event is open from 10.00 am
Thanks, I\'ll be there
Ok....I give in.... what is the 2010 Test Hill Challenge?
Do we have to race Clive up it on foot or something? :Giggle

Wo ho, it\'s only taken 8 weeks for the banner to be at the top of the opening page for some interest :Giggle
I will try and get a seperate thread up tomorrow to enlighten all :burnout
I\'ve wondered about the hill climb for ages now, but seeing as i know i wouldn\'t be entering it as my car is being run in i never thought to ask about it.
not sure a race on foot would be good either. Only things i ever run nowadays are a bath :o

I guess we all thought you had a cunning plan to unveil the event, when all along you had a cunning plan to see who would ask first. Doh !!
Looking forward to understanding what the Test involves and whether me and or my RX can complete it, lol.
Chris
The only references I\'ve found involve a scaletrix...
What time does it all kick off?
Quote from: super27;687855What time does it all kick off?
From 10.00 am on wards.
If you are interested in doing the Test Hill Challenge (weather permitting) you will need to be there by 11.00am for the briefing.
Ok thats great add me to any lists on the go. How much would the entrance fees be for my seven year old son? more than happy to pay for him. I will give the test hill a miss I think dont think my diffs up to it!

as per other thread -
25th April is also national classic car "Drive It" day so MRC is likely to be joined by a variety of classics at Brooklands which is one of several rallying points for old cars across the country.
Last time this \'clash\' took place the classics just loitered uncomfortably on the outskirts of the of the member\'s enclosure, not wanting to get in the way of something \'on at Brooklands\' As Drive-it day does not have much organisation attached to it, the drivers might appreciate a friendly wave and add an interesting and eclectic element to the MRC line up!
