Title: FD Type RSR Brake Size
Post by: Jovic82 on January 16, 2010, 07:55:23 PM
Hi,

Can anyone tell the brake discs sizes for the 1998 Type rs-r FD . Are the fronts and Rears totally different to standard Fd?

i think the fronts are thicker at 32mm thick but i have no idea about the rears?

Cheers

Nick

Both front and rear are larger. Front is 314x32mm and Rear is 314x20mm
Standard FDs have 294x22mm front and 294x20mm rear

Theyre brilliant brakes and I think youd have to go some to fade them even on track!

The big disks are hard to find and the aftermarket replacement disk people only offer the smaller 294mm disks.

Available from Mazda for many bucks
