Title: Indicator problems
Post by: lead_foot on January 14, 2010, 12:55:06 AM
Hey guys , well i turned 20 today so finally have the FC on the road after waiting 3weeks to insure it .

Well as you can imagine been driving it alot today and gotta say love it :)

Now my problem is ...........

I had been indicating for a good 10/15miles as and when i needed too.

Then i indicated again on a roundabout and my right indicator became STUCK ON !!!!  i didnt no how to sort this out so i removed all the bulbs from the right hand side indicators for temporary .

Any of you know how i can fix the problem please ? or anybody had the same issue ??

Thanks in advance

All sorted now :)

So weird lol . Took the indicator stalk off , then removed the dash surround undone the connecting plugs gave them a quick blow of air to clean them ,

reversed the above and now all my indicators work fine !

Good times! Always a crowd pleaser when you manage to resolve / fix something yourself  ;)

Assuming the switch mechanism itself isn\'t sticking you probably have a relay on the way out. What year/model FC is it?

i thought that , where is the relay for the indicators ?

Its a 1988 FC uk spec (i think) non turbo 13b engine
