To be honest with you apart from the real cheap ropey cars it doesnt appear like anything is selling anyway unless your prepared to give it away at a silly price

keep her matey ;) I\'m in the same boat as you... going to be rebuilding her soon, just bought a house that needs work, and 2 jobs on the go to pay for the fun in the summer.... but I think it\'s going to be a shame to sell now, specialy when you have a potential 60k of trouble free motoring ahead of you..... how many grins would you get in that distance driving it? deffinatly out weighs what you would get for her ;)

if the rebuild was only done 1k ago surely the place that did it would remember and be able to provide proof? why didnt they provide it to begin with?

there\'s not really any luck about it. if the engine was well built and you look after it you\'ll get loads of fun from it :)

if you\'re really worried about reliability, talk to your builder and get a list of possible reasons why the engine failed and had to be rebuilt. you can then set about safe-proofing.

Shagged water seals and corroded side plates around the water seal groove.
