Lol :) they do look cool in classic minis or VW campers if done correctly :)

That is also a really odd place to put the car jack!

does it have the aroma?

It does have an aroma... I think it\'s the smell of classic, second hand tobacco last smoked in 1989.
Either that or seat lice have been smoking the weed again... :Giggle

:D
sure blame the seat lice ;)
i once had a 1984 audi 80 - the cassette player didnt work. I sent it to my dad for spares (he repairs the headunits) and i got a concerned phonecall the following week.......

aparently the reason the cassette player wouldnt work was due to around two ounces of columbia\'s finest wedged into the tape deck.

:rollin Obviously you disposed of it in a sensible way? The Audi 80 isn\'t something I\'d normally associate with drug running/stop and search :Giggle

Just checked wikipedia, says that the only 2L 929 in 1987 had a turbo :) does this have a turbo? Do you know if this is a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen? apparently if its a 2nd gen its got the same chassis as the cosmo :D

So, when are you fitting a 39B into the engine then? You have lots of space for it :rollin

I\'m going to give it a good clean up and service, then decide on a plan of action :)
as for finding them? Word of mouth, the retro forums, car and classic & as always - eBay :)

patience usually pays off in the end :yes

So when are you bolting a GT45 to it? :D are you going to disinfect the engine and remove the pistons or are you going to keep it infected? :Giggle

Given that that it\'s quite useful when in one piece, I\'ll probably let it live in as is for the time being -taking care not to let it infect anything else :Giggle
