Love the look of that :D
Lol epic porting :D you got any spares? :rollin
So, Its time to fix that pesky misfire thats being the bane of my existance...:Grrr
But firstly, Lets wack on the spotlights and actually Drive it..To work!!!
Because we ALL need 1000W of headlights. After a very interesting and smoking drive to work ( Including twisting fuseholders to stop the pumps shutting off and random power losses) It then drove very happily home!
And it died on the driveway!! The driveway has a slope and I could hear one of the lift pumps cavitating. Seems that under full noise or on hills the pickup is getting blocked!!!
Great .. Tank out time.... At least it aint the pumps!!! ( Filters are OK at least......)
The car has a Haltec E6R which was converted back to be a run of the mill E6 due to it liking to blow carbon apex seals when it hit the limiter!.
The fault was everything from bad leads, TDC signal too close to the spark reference , spark chatter from the CAS and the Haltec picking up every and any stray signal...As it stands, the ECU cant take the ignition noise and doubble injects. Hence a misfire.
Yes Its got filters , Good coils ...:Hammer
So how does any slightly deranged person fix this..... With a MICROTECH.Or as its more commnly known as ..a MICROBLEAH!!!The plan is to get the ECU I brought years ago for my $500 buck 12AT project ( It did actually go.. I finished it 3 weeks before I left for the UK!!!)
So lets get a checkin....
Because I dont know anymore what it is, and Micropuke kindly puts the pinouts on the ECU, Lets open it up....

Hmm, the MT-4 doesnt drive 3 coils...... lets plug in My Cousins hand control
(http://www.alliancemotorsport.org/gallery/d/96853-1/Picture+110.jpg)
HA .. False advertising!!! Ill have you old son!!!
Anyway, I played guess the wiring.... fortunately I was using a MT-8 wiring diagramme to guess off!!!!

All pruddy lights and sparky things too... One coil on the trailing is dead or miswired... Ive got spares. So do I now get some Bosch coils? Can I run bosch coils on this thing .. Ill go and find out.
Now smarter readers will be thinking how am I goung to trigger the Haltech..Surely not with the currently used coil trigger adapter???No no my frends, Im going to use the Disused Haltec Reluctor adaptor and mount a spare CAS trigger so the ECU\'s are totally isolated!!! It will all fit with a new CAS cover. As a Bonus the power steering belt will not be 2mm from the dizzy anymore!!
Oh I forgot to add that.. Its got power steering too!!!
