Title: removing the rear bumper trim?
Post by: SCOOMER on May 06, 2004, 04:50:05 PM
hi all, just ordered a Re amemeyia carbon rear diffuser and im after removing the bumper rear trim.

Looking at it theirs various screws and clips that you can get at apart from two screws were theirs no way on gods green earth you can get a screw driver in.

Do you really have to remove the rear bumper itself just to remove the two screws?

If so how easy is it?

Its a bit of a dog to get the bumper off.

You have to remove two nuts that bolt the bumper to the body. These are inside the rear fenders. You get to them from inside the boot.  The trim in the boot needs tobe removed to get access, and this means undoing part of the rrof lining, and the rear panels where the speakers are!
