Title: Single turbo vacuum hoses
Post by: greg_whit_se7en on May 06, 2004, 03:55:34 PM
Hello all,

Can anyone tell me which vacuum lines I keep/remove/blank off in a single turbo installation?

Any help will be appreciated,

Greg

Assuming you have a power FC or similar, you need one to the map sensor, one to each oil injector, one to your fuel press reg. I cant think of any others you need. The fp reg goes through a solanoid, but i threw all my solanoids away. You can take the gadget on back of the throttle body off and block it. You can take off the bypass valve bolted to the inlet manifold and block it, (cant remember the names for these). these are for emissions. The rest can all go.  Just remember to strip your wiring back and insulate the wires that go to the plugs you are disgarding as they are still connected to your ecu!
