If you have the widened arches on front and rear can you please post the size of your alloys and offsets front and rear and the tyre sizes and/or a photo of your wheels fitments please?
Reason i am asking is i would like to change my wheels for ones that fit more flush and also ive had enough of the stretched tyre look i have at the moment!
Please get in touch as i have scoured the forums for this to no joy, even the american forums can\'t decide on the best fitment!
Cheers

do you want to go 19 or 18" first off
Quote from: skybusr34;658784do you want to go 19 or 18" first off
i want to go 18 so i can have bigger tyres
my last burn out rex. i had 18x9.5 rear and 8.5r fronts with et35. 265, 35 18 rear and 235 40 fronts.
these were not wide enough and et was not low enough. needed to sit 25mm further out .
get a pic up of what your wheels look/how they sit at the moment steve. also the width and ET and go from there :D
thing is karl i dont even know the offsets they used as they were put on in japan
all i know is they are 19s and are stupidly stretched 225s on the front and 235s on the rear and the alloy sticks out past the arches!
Photos are in other threads or add me on facebook loads on there:

if you take a wheel of its usually stamped on the inside of the wheels somewhere.
i dont go on facebook bud lol
they probably used et6 10\'/10.5 rear et6 9 fronts...which is too low...i reckon 10 inch et 14 -16 rear...9 inch et14 front would best suit...18\'s would look best...19\'s look huge and dont drive that well....if u take your wheels off the offsets should be on a sticker or stamped on the wheel. i had a set of weds bvillens t8\'s which were et12 and were a little to low for my liking..
yeah i just want it to look flush with no stretch on the tyres and without it bashing up into the arches at the front on lock when going over bumps
Do you have the original burnout car? If so they are weds t8s wheels on the car are they not? Just measure the rim depth and then have a look down the sizing chart.

mine is not the original burnout demo car although all the work was done by KS auto in Japan
I think my wheels are different spec to the original, im taking them off tomorrow to have a look and measure up!

thats what it says are my wheel sizes and i dont really understand much of it to be honest
looks like 9 and 11 x 19 ET6 to me! Bet they are lovely! ;)
Show us some pics of the whole car please......
No way 19x11 ET6 would fit on the rear with a burnout kit without some crazy stretch.
The wheels don\'t seem to have all the neccessry marking stamped on them tbh dude. Quite a lot of 3 pc wheels don\'t, they just have the diamater of the centre. There may be some stivckers on the back of the lips?
Are the arches +20\'s all round?
If you want safe, with a full width tyre, I\'d look at around 10j et20 with a 265 on the rear, and 9j et20ish with a 245 on the front.
They are 19x9 fron 19x10 rear with ET6 all round and yes there is some crazy stretch on the tyres.
You seem to have the exact same rims as the original burnout car dude. Looking to sell give me a hola.
^^^^^ well that is interesting to hear! All this time taking notes off the legendary wheel expert ( SiH ) and have come up trumps for once! :wiggle:rolleyes::Giggle
Either way - still need to see full car pics! Bet it\'s FDUKin awesome :god
im sure you guys have seen it before!
and yeah mims i am selling them i know from Jurgen they are 4 grand for wheels only to uk now new, these have got like new yokohamas on and yeah they are stretched which i guess you love or hate.

Wasn\'t your car featured in one of the magazines a while back, Steve? Looks awesome, mate, gotta say I prefer your new choice of wheels though, much lushness there

yeah Nik was in jap performance and a few others abroad!
I think i have done the show car thing with it now and i want to enjoy driving it now! lol
Lovely car! Please don\'t take Weds off and put Rota\'s on a K\'s car! Baby jesus is weeping into his festive manger!
How much wider are the fenders supposed to be, and what are your current tyre sizes? I\'m genuinely surprised that an 11 +9 fits on the back with anything more than, say, a 255 - and on a 19 in the right profile to get a decent rolling radius, that\'d be an utter mare to get on the rim!
They are 10j wide at back +6 offset with a scandalous 225 stretched yokahama tyre with the rims out past the body work. I think the fenders add 20mm onto each side and yeah I do love the weds and I can\'t afford to replace like for like in smaller alloys so Rotas it is!
Ah right, got all confused and thought you said they weren\'t stretched now - my bad!
225 on a 10 is for winners ;)
I can get +10 on stock arches with that wheel/tyre combo, so you have room to spare:)
It\'s so hard to guesstimate with wider arches, as often \'+20\' is less than +20 on the inside lip. Then when you take into account rolled OEM arches, panel alignment, etc, there re so many variables that often the only way is to suck it and see :(
yeah i know what you mean mate
when i get photos ill post up to show you the new look!
