Title: Which colour?
Post by: Christopher on December 07, 2009, 10:16:21 PM
I am re spraying the Rx soon and I would like some opinions on colours please.
I can\'t decide on black or a really dark blue/purple. Anyone got any pics of FB\'s in these colours?

Pete.

My car will be sprayed very soon but I can\'t make up my mind. I need opinions on these two colours.

The cobra is sprayed in Lexus Indigo Ink Pearl (8P4).

I am pretty sure I am going for the black now. It\'s not the most loudest of colours. But  I think a nice show finish on it will make up for it.
These are the wheels that are going on the car. I think will go great with black bodywork.

I would vote blue, but black is nice too.
Image wheels are g8,but polishing those rims are a pain in the butt,if the cars for winter use forget polished rims,i had 10x18" image halibrands on my Dax cobra,it took 2 hours per wheel to remove pitting on the rims twice a year.[& thats with only 1500 miles a year use]
Image can supply stainless valves & if u want u can have the centres stove enameled a different colour,my centres were white & looked g8 against british racing green bodywork.
Image also do an anodised finish which is more durable, but i\'m sure you\'ve been dribbling over their website!!
It\'s ur project,u know best.

Needs to be matt black

Or black with matt black accents:

Yeah but with matt black if it gets dirty all you need to do is wash it, its not like you can wax it! :rollin

My FC is gunmetal gray and its actually not too bad :)
