At Silverstone on Monday I noticed that above ~140 MPH the front of the car started to feel very light (back was fine). Net result is I think I could possibly do with a pair of small cannards.
Anyone know where I can get them from and what the options are, plus how do you fit them.
Also can anyone think of any practical alternative ways to help increase front down force at speed ?
(BTW I believe the real name for canards in this sense is Dive Planes)
A lot of the aftermarket nose cones offer canards as an option e.g. philg\'s cwest nsoe has 2 pairs of canards. Ditto the Feed noses. Feed also do small canards (quite small in fact - wouldnt like to say wheather they actually do any thing - but u never know?) for the stock nose cones. See Joel Kellys car in a couple of weeks as he\'s got some to fit I thinks...

Have a scroll down theres a few ;)
The under pannels help to as the air passes under the front of the car quicker pulling it down. When you get turbulent air under a car at high speed this will cause lift and very stange things can happen !!!!.
Yay, phil has canards and carbon under tray - no complaints about lively front end and he drives pretty hard :)
My under tray had to be cut to fit the Apexi GT intercooler, so that option is a no go.
Gary,
FWIW, I think that the FEED carbon under-tray is a flat carbon section - it does not have the vertical sections which need to be cut away to fit the GT spec. intercooler.
Having said that, this absence of upright supports means that it needs to be bolted down securely to the front splitter, and I guess that this will be an issue unless you have the corresponding front end (C-West, FEED, etc), as bolt spacing and shape may not be an exact match. Of course, its only carbon sheet, so a carbon guru (ask Ian ("iiyama") about his mate at Carbon Creations) should be able to knock one up for you without too many issues (and, I dare say, at a much reduced price).
HTH,
Joel
Geff\'s chopped a couple out of ally for people too.
