Post by: p.robby on May 04, 2004, 09:18:33 PM
hi,  can anyone help, i have recently fitted a apexi front nose cone and i don\'t want to ruin the large mouth/opening with my old number plate.  can you still get the sticker number plates from anywhere and is it legal.  tried halfords and A1 motor stores with no luck.  cheers paul

yeah got mine fron GT graphix as i had used them previously before with excellent results......Stick on "show plates" (http://instagiber.net/smiliesdotcom/ups/smarty/wink.gif) as yes technically they are entirely illegal unless you have an E type (http://www.computerpannen.com/cwm/cwm/3dlil/sad.gif) but much less likely to get done than if say using a illegal sized plate IMO but no guarantee like........
Si
PS fancyplates should also be good to go & Clarkee also used to do stick on plates if you wana try dropping him a line.

for what it\'s worth I have a stick on front plate and drive past a local police station on my route to and from work daily.
I also drive past Thames Valley police HQ en route to lunch most days.  nobody\'s said a word to me and Thames Valley are reported to be one of the hottest on clobbering poor unsuspecting motorists.
