Post by: Johnboyblaze on November 16, 2009, 10:36:50 PM
Hey Guys,

I\'m Currently on Tein super street coilovers with adjustable top mounts, but to be honest I ain\'t really a fan of the tein\'s, they are way too hard for me, I know I could get softer springs but I cant be arsed with the ball ache off stripping them down and all that,  id jut rather replace the damm things as mad as that sounds lol.....

Just wanted to know what other peoples recommendations  are and what they are using... be much appreciated if you could guys me some ideas please.....

Regards john :chat

If Super Streets are too hard for you then you shouldn\'t be looking at coilovers really dude.

The valving in them is relatively loose, and they run reasonably compliant springs.

If I were you I\'d be looking for a set of shocks and springs :)

I was running standard dampers with uprated springs from and rear, (came with the car).

The ride was unbearable. I was bounced out of the seat with pot holes etc.

Swapped to Tein Monoflex set to softest damper setting. The ride is now superb in my opinion.

Hope this helps.

Mono flex run a tighter damping circuit and harder spring rate than the SS\'s  though AFAIK, so if he\'s not happy with them, he won\'t like Mono\'s. :(

The stock Bilstein stuff is sh!t, compare any shock to that and it will ride like a magic carpet :D
