I bought on ebay goodridge braided hoses, but have been sent Hel. i messaged they guy and he said they are the same. is this true. they certainly dont look the same as the goodridge ones dont have a plastic shielding and these hel ones do? just a bit confused?

Pretty much the same thing, braided stainless hose with a teflon-based liner and in the case of Hel, coloured nylon sleeve over the top. The default for Goodridge is a transparent sheath over the top IIRC, but you can usually state a colour preference when ordering, if you want. So long as the fittings are correct, I don\'t think you should care too much. Hel have a good reputation in the bike world, just not been around as long as Goodridge is all
As above: Not the same, but both are very good quality. I certainly wouldn\'t be disapointed with HEL\'s. IIRC the RRP is actually slightly higher on the HEL\'s.
