Title: What length belt for Greddy pullies?
Post by: leeroy_25 on November 08, 2009, 04:32:34 PM
I have a set of pulleys on the way thanks to Ash on here for air pump removal.. They are Greddy ones as far as he knows.. Could be copies but hey. I need a belt to go with them now.. Can someone let me know what part number/length belt I need to get for these.

Thank you
Lee

all you need to do is get the pulleys on and go round them with a piece of string to see how long the belt needs to be then go down halfords to find the right one :)

oh make sure the adjusters are slacked off a bit so you can get the belt on and tightened up.

I had thought of that solution karl. I was just being impatient and trying to save some time! I googled some stuff and came up with 5pk780? I figure it needs to be as long as possible to get the alternator as far around as it will go and get max tensioner and running area on the water pump pulley. Maybe i\'ll just check when I get the pullies to be safe!

Thanks
Lee
