Title: M1tch\'s new rims :)
Post by: m1tch on November 07, 2009, 03:48:31 PM
Hi all, I have just tried to test fit the new rims, the offset on the centres is 35, but I can\'t fit them all the way on due to the head shield being in the way :(

It all seems to be inline with the body if that extra inch of clearance was taken out with bending the heat shield though :)

Does anyone know what width these actually are? there are no stamps on the inside of the rim, it won\'t say on the centre as they are 3 piece, so you can have different widths :D

Here is the comparison between a stock FC rim with the new tyres:

This is where it is fouling:

Can\'t really drop the car as I need to stop the fouling and also buy those thinner \'tuner\' wheel bolts, the OEM ones fit, but there is no space to turn them!

About 8.5J?

Just take a hammer to the heatshield, it\'ll be fine! Looks quite tasty though! MRP sell the wheel nuts btw.

Yea, GBH will sort that for you!! You will probably find that they are 8\'s front & 9\'s rear (seems to be the most common FD fitment) They will look ace on the FC once you have malested the heat shield ;)
