Thinking of buying a new set of wheels 10x19 +30 rear and 9x19
+24 fronts if i roll the arches and run some camber will i be able to make these fit
cheers
Yup, with the right sized tyres :)
Run a 245 on the rear, and they will fit with a roll and slight pull, possibly even a 255.
Fronts will need more like a 225 and a couple of degrees to tuck under, and a roll and pull :)
Cheers mate thats what i was hoping to expensive to get wrong lol
if you put 42 et you can run 265 with no rubbing. so 255 on +30 is fine. what wheels btw
The wheels are ssr professor sp1\'s but i need to sell my racing hart cr\'s first ....

Maths is slightly off there dude.
et42 with a 265 sits about 7mm further in than a 255 on a +30, the tyre is spread over the whole rim so for width changes you need to half the difference in tyre width as it changes at both edges :)
So 265 et 42 is roughly equal postiioning wise at the edge of the tread to (42 - ((265-255)/2)) = 255 et 37 :) Make sense?
But then it depends on the shape of the tyre wall too - some are more \'rounded\' than others.
To the OP: You will have to do archwork, but it should be restricted to just a roll and possible small pull.
