Hi guy\'s I am almost done converting to single turbo.. Finally! I haven\'t yet got a pulley set to be used when the airpump is removed. Am I correct in thinking you can run on stock pullies but not advise to do so for long.. Thinking I might do this just to get me going? If so what length belt do I need to get.
Also can someone let me know the outside diameter of the oversize alternator and waterpump pulleys..

Hi there, yeah its not a good idea, the waterpump isn\'t under enough tension, so there could be cooling issues.
I have seen someone put a PS pump pulley where the air pump is and run stock belts, which seems to work, but most people usually go for a double pulley and double belts.
I was looking a making an idler pulley to do exactly that but unfortunately my turbo comes up to close. I might look again and see if there is alternative mounting point I can use.
The greddy pulley kit is not double belt is it?
I thought I read you could get enough tension on the pulley with stock ones but it over loaded the waterpump bearing which would result in it failing eventually?
I just resent spending so much on a couple of pullies at the moment to be honest! If needs must.
I was planning/toying with getting some over size pullies machined hence I could do with knowing the sizes if anyone knows. I have a friend who can do some machining within reason!
To be fair you could probably use an alternator pulley from another car.. would just need a water pump pulley making.

Out of curiosity are you selling them because you had isseus with them slipping? I heard a lot of people complaining about that.. I\'ll give it a go though!

emailed you. no, they came with an engine i bought, and i run an airpump deletion idler pulley so dont need them. i\'ve sent you some photos. no idea about belt size but lots of people run them should be able to find out with a search on here or fduk.
