Title: Ignition Timing
Post by: MiniMike16V on November 06, 2009, 04:34:55 PM
How easy are the EGi\'s to adjust the ignition timing? Reason being is when i\'m lifting off the throttle on the motorway I get a nice bit of popping from the exhaust, as well as the occasional bang! The equal length headers have been a cause for a lot of the flames too I think. Not that bad really as I actually enjoy the sounds :rollin but i\'ve been told that this can happen mostly due to timing being out? It could also be the cause for the car juddering when i\'m coasting, letting the engine slow the car at lower revs?

Anyone know the easiest way to adjust the ignition timing?

Thanks

Mike
