My stainless steel intercooler pipes occassionaly blow off if I dial in a higher boost over 0.9 bar.
They are smooth and need a flare rolling in to the ends to act as a \'stop\' for the circlip.
Can anyone recommend a Company that can carry out this type of work ?
Thanks
Chris
my friend whos a professional welder just puts a very neat "blob" of weld on 3 side of the pipe then grinds it to a nice shape. did the trick perfect for him and plus you cant see the blobs because the couplers over it.
You need somewhere with a \'bead roller\' :)
Or, as Nuki says - a blob of weld all round is a perfect solution :)
there is a place near me that can make exhausts, intercooler pipes etc, they have made a few ic pipes for me in the past.
There in Macclesfield cheshire if you can\'t find anywhere thats more local to you.

Kev,
They are circa 70mm diameter.
Is that suitable for your equipment ?
Thanks
Chris
I\'ll check in the morning chris fairly heavy duty rollers the\'re certainly okay for 3 inch pipe so may do the job
