Hi all, Just wondering how many FCs still have the OEM battery box cover on the car, so far I only know of 2 people, Skifledanabit and I, all the FCs I have seen for sale have them missing :Giggle
Who else has theirs?

a couple on pistonheads have it.
I\'ve got an FD one, which is apparently an equally rare beast! I\'ve seen a rubber plant, and a house fly, and I even seen a horse box but I ain\'t never seen no mythical battery box lid :rollin
i have one - its not in the best condition - but i have one
Nope, mine is long gone.

The intercooler is an ARC copy, with a Pace core, 3 times the thickness of stock, allows for 0 lag from the turbos due to the longer route that is used by FMIC and V mounts, rated to 1.2 bar and takes aaaages for heat soak due to its size, why should I take it off?
You car is the first one that i seen with a battery box lid it dose not do anything that\'s just my tow sent....Thank\'s for the info on you\'r intercooler..
my battery lives in the boot so technically i have alid on mine lol

No worries about the intercooler, a V mount in an FC is difficult and a FMIC creates lag :)
The lid does serve a purpose, it shields the contacts from the elements, as well as completes the air circulation circuit for the battery vent on 1 of the sides of the box :)
