I use the defi link system, dont use the VSD HUD though.

Its pretty straightforward, the link box needs power etc like any gauge would but then the gauges just need to be plugged into the link box and into their respective sensors.

Most complicated part of installation would be getting the sensors in place etc i think to be honest. Probably got pics somewhere of the wiring involved if it would help you get a better picture of it?

thanks for the info. so basically to put the sensors on the car, in some places you may have to use adaptors, drill into the block and tap etc etc

All depends on the sensors you want to use really :)

Boost gauge when you buy it will come with a boost sensor which will need a vac line running to it

Water temp i think the sensor comes fitted to a joiner pipe to pretty much cut a pipe and rejoin it with the pipe between the two cut end (dont quote me on that mind - didnt do the RX7\'s one myself)

My other is oil temp which i think the sensor is plumbed into the sump somehow, afraid i cant be much clearer than that :o

Yep dead easy to sort, standard wiring stuff like headunits (i.e. power, dimming etc) and the sensors will come with the gauges :)

Defi link gauges do not come with sensors you have buy the hole lot seperatly and the you don\'t get the adaptors for the sensors either. You need to be reasobaly confident with your skills to fit them. The sensors will fit in the stock sensor positions tho for water temp and oil pressure, make sure you use the ones for the stock gauges and not for the ecu.
