Title: FWD Tyres
Post by: Sky on May 03, 2004, 12:02:16 PM
Heyas,

I\'ve got a tdi golf that looks like it\'s going to need new tyres soon, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I\'m after some that\'ll last a while, don\'t have silly road noise and give decent grip (in roughly that order of preference). It\'s mostly a general use car, with the FD for when I actually want to have fun. Any recommendations appreciated, I think it\'s got continentals on at the moment.

Figured I\'d ask here because I\'m not enough of a Golf fan to join a forum for that ;)

Go with something like a Toyo T1-S, not that expensive but good grip, plenty of feedback and lasts a fair while.

Put Uniroyal Rallye 540 on my wife\'s Mx-5 and very pleased with them.
