Title: My 93 FD pics
Post by: Ste C on October 11, 2009, 12:22:53 PM
Here is a few pictures of my mint 93 FD. Im fitting a 99 Spec front end and a 99 spec rear wing in the next couple of months. I\'ve de-catted, fitted Blitz Nur Spec exhaust, Apexi FC commander, Induction kit, Brand new discs and pads all round, New 19" Alloys and tyres which are 235/35/19 which to my surprise rides just as nice as the old stock wheels on 225/50/16`s. I had the engine rebuilt 5 years ago but have only covered 4000 miles since, drive really well. I went for the Uprated sports engine from Hurley engineering and with stock twins I hit 300bhp on WGTs dyno. The car has covered just over 60,000 miles and I love the attention it gets. If were to put her up for sale (very unlikely) what would be a good asking price??? Cheers.

If I were to lower it would it be wise to upgrade the suspension too?

Just pulling your leg mate, looks lovely, clean and standard, best way iMo.

With 4k on a rebuilt engine albeit a long time ago i would hope about 5k.

Clean standard fd\'s with a fresh rebuild, new ancillaries + warranty etc are selling for 6-7k ish
