Be careful if you use any radiator weld stuff, as the stuff goes into the engine block as well and can block up some of the passages with gunk and rubbish causing hot spots in the engine where no coolant flows

I once used radweld in my old eg civic and never Never again, I just couldnt do it to my water pump again.

As said above yep it blocks leaks but also blocks up everything else including water jackets and pumps etc.

I belive it would do a hell of a lot more damage to a rotary where temps are much more critical

are u crazy!!  Just get another rad....i\'d use on an old banger on its last legs but never on a half decent motor...whats wrong with your rad?  is the core leaking? theres plenty of places that recore rads and can make u a new one for less than 300...ready rads and serck in birmingham (i have used both in the past....)

i baught a 52mm core aluminium radiator for £139 of ebay that steve at hayward fitted. took abit of modification to the fan housing holes to fit over the radiator stumps but its been fantastic for the past 8 months.

use an egg :)

Alternatively...and probably preferably.....go for a new core!  Not worth the hassles further down the line :)
