Title: fd3s turbo pack.
Post by: nuki on October 08, 2009, 10:50:04 AM
An old friend who i have lost contact with for a long time used to make 1 good turbo pack from 2 old turbo packs on the fd\'s.
He used to put the best secondary turbo on the primary position and make a really good turbo pack out of 2 secondary turbos. Has anyone got any information on this as i want to do something similar to my turbo pack as i fractionally use my secondary turbo compared to my primary probably like most people with stock turbo Fd\'s. Thank you.

Do you mean have a turbo pack that consists of two secondary turbos?  I suppose that you could run a setup like that non-sequential, and that it could be similar to running a medium sized single?:3Confused

What kind of results would you get out of that setup - does he have any dyno graphs that show spool + power/torque....?

im almost sure last time we spoke a customer of his was running a comfortable 365 at the fly at .8 bar using his stock turbo setup.
but i do know the turbo pack is ported and welded i think with other DIY mods to the turbo pack.
