Title: New brakes fitted :D
Post by: trotter on October 05, 2009, 09:33:05 PM
Guys and gals.....

First things first, this is NOT a difficult job to do. The worst part is getting off rusted/seized bolts and screws. However, get a big can of WD-40, a big hammer/mallet and a good quality socket set and impact driver and you will be all good.

Anyhoo, things I used:

1) 10 and 14mm sockets
2) 10mm flare nut spanner (imagine a 6 sided socket outline, but in a spanner)
3) rubber mallet
4) impact driver with phillips bit
5) 8mm spanner (brake bleeding)
6) easi-bleed brake bleeding kit (or a friend if you have one ;) )
7) discs
8) pads
9) 500ml brake fluid
10) goodridge hose kit
