Post by: Rotary_Menace on October 01, 2009, 10:00:26 AM
8.5x18" ET32 Front With 235/645-18

9.5x18" ET32 Rear With 285/645-18 X 2

I know that is a rather big tyre for the rim, however i have been told this is safe,

These will be track day tyres :3gears-rh , and at bit of a bargin price :cheers

Let me know what you think

That\'ll fit fine IMO, I had 9.5J et 22 with 275\'s on the back- there was definitely more than 15mm between the tyre edge & fouling the suspension, though 275\'s were very flat edged & protruded well over the rim, the biggest I would put on a 9.5j :).

Yep 265 is what is meant for a 9.5j i think. Also i guess this would bring the car to a more understeer setup when your on the edge.
