I am not posting any times in case I spook my luck, but the car is running over 1 bar boost safely now, so I am hoping that will translate to a considreably better time than my so far best of 15.2

Dragging a vert with all the leather seats ect still in isn\'t going to get you into very low figures :Giggle

Im still running stock comedy suspension so the rear digs in a lot lol after I upgrade the power to the magic 400bhp at some point I will get a faster time than that on the stock suspension. Then I will change to a track suspension which will mean slower drag times lol I \'only\' need another 0.3 seconds off the time to get a 13 something, its running a 14.2 on stock boost at the mo though and I know it can go faster as it boosted to 0.8 bar due to boost creap, so ive now got that under control :)

Yeah when I ran the 14.1 it was on stock ish (had Bilstiens dampers on hte back). Now with my coilovers im lucky to get a 14.3. I am getting better terminal speeds though, over the 100mph mark.

There was a HUGE headwind down the strip on saturday, plus my boost wouldn\'t go past stock boost on the strip, still thrashed a skyline though lol best time was about 14.5, was running with a stock shifter, so I might have got my old time if I had my short shifter and the boost was behaving lol

still can\'t believe the same water pipe went on this one 3 minutes from the track on the way home! same line went on my egi! Mr RAC man just gave me the tools and let me fix it myself!!

I had the same failure on my first ego, was a total mare to spot in the dark as well!

It just seems ironic that all the fc\'s ive had the same pipe has gone lol.
Those coilovers that came with the car are ace,way better than the hks ones ive got on the egi:)

How are those pipes held onto the heatermatrix? Im wondering if its the join thats leaking on mine rather than the matrix itself.

Have you fitted the fronts then? :)
Title: santa pod oct 4th
Post by: Adam fc on October 06, 2009, 07:51:01 PM
Yeah I\'ve put them on,just the damping adjust seems allot more positive compared to the hks ones I have.
On both heater matrix hoses have failed in the same place, which is the bend just before it era the block.
It was lucky that the car had a water temp gauge in it as it was dancing around from 80-100 degrees and that was before the low coolant alarm went off.
I wish mazda could have put a more pleasent low coolant alarm in as i\'ve heard enough of it going off recently and its scares the crap out of me every time I hear it!

so it was handy fitting all the gauges then :D
