Title: c pillar strut/ brace?
Post by: L18M on September 24, 2009, 04:30:53 PM
Just wondering if anyone here runs a c-pillar strut?
it connects to where the hatch gas shocks attach to the body and NOT rear strut as in mounts to top of the suspension tower.

anyone seen any benefits of adding a c pillar strut?
cheers

Tbh mate it was a pain getting the sizes just right to fit and adjust up so it would be solid and unable to flex.

If i were to try another it would probably be a two peice jobbie with the thread somewhere along the bar to make adjustment easy although the two peice dont look as pimp as the single peice ones.

Ill be honest your not the first to ask and i dont relish trying to fab another tbh

cheeky re-a sticker on there :p
mine just looks like a normal front strut with thread either end to adjust and different mounts.
will get pics up once i get my car back.
