Title: First Clean!!
Post by: Dan7 on September 19, 2009, 11:41:23 PM
Hey guys.
Well I\'ve now got the RX7 and this Saturday its had it\'s first clean.

I\'ve been using it to pop back and forward to work and I\'m making sure to take it out for a good blast every couple of days :D

I really have had some great comments from by people walking by and I have made special effort sure to show up all the local saxos and civics... lol :$

Also  been out for a blast with a friend and his supercharged fiesta ST, ... great fun and the cars sound fantastic together.

Well here is some more pics for a laugh, took them during our cleaning process :P - which took all day... :| lol...

Finally on my drive!!!! Yay.

Haha got kaz doing the work !! :P

A well earned break :P

We took the seats out so I we could get in and clean it properly.
Well when I say "we"... haha

Decided to clean Kaz with interior foam! LOL!
:$

And here it is:

I\'m planning to take her out soon with the camera and shoot some very amateur video.
Should make some fairly good youtube material. As long as I don\'t get stopped...

Will update you soon.

Hope everyones having a good weekend.

ps. my old Mr2 is for sale if anyone is interested.
Dan

They\'re a prototype made by a design house in Uxbridge called Vaerro :).

They are similar to Re-am\'s but have key differences-
- The lens cover fits edge to edge & wraps around the base, eliminating the black outline (which is silicone\'d in on the re-ams). These covers are removable & also make a tighter fit around the shutline.
- The bases are moulded to fit the headlight modules, i.e. no gaps like the re-am\'s, you can\'t see through the lens to the slam panel.
- The lens hood under the lens isn\'t painted on & can be removed/changed in angle to make them look more aggressive... or sleepier!
- The base has a revised shape which would potentially house an indicator/sidelight on the inner side.

I had them commissioned 6-7months ago with a view to helping develop them further, will pick up again in a few months, but so far these remain the only set to be made :).

Looks even better when cleaned although I like \'dirty\' cars.

Those wheels are amazing, what are they and what measurements?

Congrats on the car, looks like a blast and is really making me determined to get one again.

They should produce them!
