Title: URGENT commander question...
Post by: trotter on September 16, 2009, 10:55:29 AM
guys / gals....

After an almighty argument with ParcelFarce, my commander finally arrived this morning!! :D

Now assuming that I have bought the right one, is there anything that has to be done before I use it (its second hand) ie: resetting it back to original settings?

I know there is a setting for this but the manual isnt very clear!! Will this reset the PFC as well? I don\'t want that to happen!!!

cheers

G

As far as i know it should just be a matter of plugging in the commander and away you go. The setting are in the ECU and all the commander does is show whats going on.
Plug it in and see what happens :D

Make sure its the right commander for you year of ECU. If you search on here you\'ll find threads with the codes on for which commanders work with which ECU
