who sells the jap gear knobs usually bout 150mm - 250mm in length and clear plastic with flowers of bubbles in?

you can get them on ebay US for around $70 including shipping, i couldn\'t find anything in the UK.
 
they\'re called "bubble knobs" if you don\'t want to go googling "Japanese dildos" ;)

just looked on ebay and theyre nearly 7 inches long! wouldnt that be a bit tall considering the height that the gear knob already is? it would be touching the headlining lol

US. seller called advanceautodesign. The Americans call them shift knobs though, not gear knobs!

They\'re a bit awkward to use at first, but once you get used to it its quite handy having it right next to the steering wheel & not having to fumble around when you change gear!

lol.. if u use with a short shift, wouldit it defeat the object of changing to short shift as the travel to change gear would prob be same travel as a normal gear stick?

nope, a proper short shift changes the pivot point, making the part below the ball joint longer and the part above shorter.

a bubble shifter would make it a little easier because you\'re increasing leverage and getting more travel in the lower half, if that makes sense!

EDIT: and i totally want one to get some JDM-tyte-points
