I was wondering if anyone had some way of figuring out info on my FD\'s vin number. FD3S-110171

Get your search on bud - that info has been posted loads and loads and loads on the forum :rolleyes:

Yeah that website was no good it was for US and canadian vin numbers not Jap.

a very useful mr fil_auto answered this very same question for me when i first joined :) check this thread, theres a good link on there (translated thru google) which should give you some info on jap VINs

Nice info say mine was released 1992 march 29 just happens to be the day I got married hmmmmmm it was meant to be lol. How do I find out what model RB RS and such?

Info I\'ve found on your Vin shows born on 29.05.1992..... ;)

therefore I reckons you have an RX7 FD3S Type R...... defo if you have 2 oil coolers.....

Yep sure does have two oil coolers. So does that mean its a type R?
