Title: HKS Hypermax suspension
Post by: dturpin on April 27, 2004, 05:10:51 PM
When I brought my car it came with HKS Hypermax coilovers on, but no instructions (well only japanese ones, and I can\'t read it),  I was wondering if anyone has got these fitted to there FD and if they have got any instructions for them that they could copy me some how, or tell me where I can get some from.  I basically want to know how to raise and lower the car and how to adjust the stiffnes of the suspension.

Hypermax.

Depending on the type you have, there will be an allen key at the top or bottom of the struts. Hypermax II is at the top.
If you have Race or Drag version with camber tops It will be at the bottom of the front struts.

Turning this will adjust damping strength.
Turn them all full the same way and drive, Believe me you\'ll be able to tell which is hard and soft.

As for height. Youll have to adjust the pink/purple spring seats.
If you dont have the C TOOL, It could be hard for you.

You can see the C tool in this pic. (these are drift version)
Adjust at bottom. Mine are different.
