Title: non sequential vacuum hose simplification?
Post by: MaLicE on August 23, 2009, 11:51:02 PM
ok i snapped a solenoid, had an ask about and got sent a link to rx7 club showing vacuum hose simplification diagrams... anyway as im running non sequential i found this diagram....

has anyone else done it?? atm i still seem to have 90% of the rats nest and this simplification deletes most of it...

anyone done it? as far as i can see its the same for a single turbo conversion... but they say it works on rx7 club...

i thought you had to keep the purge controll solenoid to stop a constant buzzing noise from near the upper inlet? i know someone using a setup like this one.

I dont have purge control and never had any noises, nuki I think thats a simplified sequential setup.

yes it is i just thought it might make things abit more simple than looking at the stock diagram lol :D

well its not exactly connected to anything else so i could connect the purge solenoid to the catch tank thing and to the carbon canister...

the purge control solenoid might only make something beep if your ECU is stock..? not sure.

Any one know what resistors are needed to fool the rats nest plugs into thinking that they are plugged into the solonoids?

I read somewhere I needed 300 Ohms resistors, but trying to search for them seems to make them elusive. Plus I can\'t find listings of resistors in ohms.

if you are running power fc you just turn the sequential feature off in the menu...

i thought it was 32ohm
